I worked in Europe for over 9 years and there is a different work ethic: European work to live while Americans live for work. Why are there different work ethics? We will explore Max Weber's (1864-1920) thesis The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism. Where did the American work ethic originate and did Christianity have anything to do with it?
